As a Rheumatologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients who have problems with their joints, soft tissue, and connective tissues. Often, you will diagnose and treat conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and osteoarthritis. Your role as an Officer on the U.S. Army health care team will require you to be in command of medical units, as well as provide health support for commanders at all levels.
